This is my new addition. got from a friend who wasn't really keeping up with him and had him in a 2.5 with some rocks and a fake plant. have had him for a week now. healthy appetite, plenty active, fluffing girls at feeding time, and had made a bubble nest. all good signs of happy fish. Can't get over his melted fins look. Is that just a characteristic of Elephant Ears? Or does this look like fin rot? hasn't gotten any worse since he's been here and doesn't seem to be progressing. used to having females with not so much fin. thanks guys.
