during fin rot treatment, my betta was very lethargic and stayed in his cave and didn’t come up for air that often, so i was worried. i just did a water change to remove some of the leftover meds, and i noticed these giant air bubbles trapped inside his cave (the picture isn’t good, but i circled it). i just saw him take a breath from the bubble like he does on the surface. could he have been getting his oxygen from this air pocket, and that’s how he didn’t have to come out of the cave?
