Broke my 3-year old 7' Okuma spinning rod a couple of weekends ago, and got sticker shock when I went to the store today to look at replacements. The rest of it is in the river – is there a way to just source the top half? Obviously I could Frankenstein it, but would prefer a Okuma replacement

  1. You could repair it with a shim or a ferrule if you want, but the power and action will be very different if that’s okay with you. You could contact okuma, or just completely replace it.
