Buddy of mine offered to build me a custom rod if I paid for materials and wanted to go with this particular rod blank. Would be pairing with a Spinfisher VI 4500. If y'all have any alternative blanks u may know of I'd be interested to hear about em too 🙂
I wanted to use it on surf for striper and blues. I've seen some people catch hogs with em online lol

I’d go for it. Suzuki black hole rods are nice. I have a lighter one I use in SoCal surf that I love. It’s 10’ 1/2-2oz works perfect for perch and halibut.
