good combo?

so I want to get into fishing (i’ve fished quite a bit previously but i’ve been using a $30 rod), i’ve been looking at a lews reactor speed spool baitcaster and a daiwa graphite braiding-x rod, would this be a good combo? i’m freshwater fishing, not really any specific species
