So my boyfriend collects bettas from pet smart and such. He keeps them in smaller tanks, no water filter. He used to clean them more regularly but lately since this Betta is only one alive currently. He says that they're used to dirty water and this is their natural environment?… I don't agree but he's more knowledgeable about them. I was asking if he(the fishy) was okay. He said yes and was wondering why I am questioning him on it. Am I overreacting or is it as bad as I believe it is?
