Same HOA pond.

First two are same week . With one having the stripes vs the other having the normal gradient makes me feel like it’s different species but they seem large to be a striped bass vs a largemouth.

Nah man. Not all bass as the same species look the same just like humans. They’re all Florida strain largemouth. They may look slightly different based on what they were around too

Regular ole florida strain bass. They’ll get darker if they’re hanging out in the weeds or there’s lots of tannins in the water. The lighter colored one’s probably been hanging out in clearer water. I’m not a scientist tho. Just heard that from Roland.

Same species. Bass here in FL will be darker if they hide in weeds, under mats, or live in tannic water in general. They will be more vibrant if they are in clean water and will be whiteish if they live in dirty stained water.
