Just wanted to share my tank setup. I’ve had it for about 8 months now. Any critiques or suggestions are welcome (esp for the frrrriigen algae, the bane of my existence).

It currently houses:

– 5 chilis

– 3 Otto’s

– 2 Cory’s

– 1 snail that recently turned into 10 snails

“1 snail that recently turned into 10 snails” is so real omg
loving all the emersed plants, is that a small monstera on the driftwood?

  2. Looks nice, get a timer and simply lowering the light time will help with the algae.

My suggestion especially as an otto and corydoras owner: Remove most of the duckweed and get a small powerhead or wavemaker to add a low water flow in the top of your tank, your corydoras will enjoy going against it and the ottos will use this opportunity to suck biofilm on the surface, you will often see them swimming belly up. Your chillis wouldnt mind as long as it is set to low, plus more oxygenation.
