My betta had been spending lots on time floating on this leaf. Is this normal? Yes he’s fine. When I poke him he gets big mad and swims around then comes right back to this spot.

He’s resting! Bettas need to breathe air as well as water. If you’re not noticing any other odd behaviors, he’s likely just napping and is totally fine 🙂

Dude found a spot to nap but the human keeps waking him up in panic. Both of which are normal. I haven’t had a surface sleeper yet.
