I'm finally going to get the SLX and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a rod or rods that aren't too pricey to pair it with. I already have a MHF 7' Lews AH and a 7'3 MHF Daiwa Laguna. I want to try and get one for finesse because that's what I fish my spinning on but I also want to improve my topwater game as I want to get better with that(pencils,ploppers, buzz) I'll eventually get better quality rods but I'm still relatively amateur so I don't want drop another couple hundred on top of the reel. Thanks!

I’d look at St Croix 6’8″ M/XF Black Bass. $155. That would be a sweet setup for the price range
