Still looking for two rods to go with my Curado 200 and 300. Rn focusing on my 200 hg but suggestions for the 300 are appreciated. Bought a couple glides at my recent fishing show but they didn’t have a lot of rods to get hands on feel. Leviathan simple faith has my attention and the Daiwa Dx. Don’t have any lures that weigh more than 3+ ounces currently. Was thinking of going 1-4 for my 200 and 4+ for my 300.

Honestly the dobyns fury swimbait rods are the cheapest I’d run on a commercial stick. I build all my own rods so I’m partial to custom builders because I know where manufacturers skimp.

I’ve used the fury rods (both models) and they’re solid for the price man. The lighter one will handle 1-4 oz glides fine and the heavier one will handle 4-6 oz fine. You might start pushing it if you’re throwing 7/8oz glides but most of us probably aren’t doing that often.

Irod makes like 18 different rods for damn near any glide you want to throw

Budget: Shimano SLX, Dobyns Fury, IROD Genesis III, 6th Sense Milliken. All of these are sub $170

I’m personally going to wait for the new Megabass Levante line to come out, because I already got a couple rods.
