Spoons are excellent. Forest makes the best ones in my opinion. Some kastmasters in various sizes are also great especially if the water is deeper. A few roostertails will round out the load out properly, I prefer to buy the trout pack in single hook configuration. I like casting Rapala countdown cd-3s also, but the spoons and spinners will get the job done and can be carried in a small spoon wallet to keep it simple and light.
