I would be a little worried about the little guy getting stuck in the window holes on the right one. Otherwise, these seem cute and safe.

Since they’re not designated for aquarium use (I’m assuming), I recommend soaking them in aquarium water for a week or more just to be sure they’re not gonna fall apart or have their coatings dissolve into the water. In general, ceramics are an extremely safe option, but I’d still test just to be sure.

Fill in any small holes and they’ll be fine. You could use silicone or something to stuff them as long as it’s aquarium safe

  3. one on the left seems great, just make sure there aren’t any sharp bits on the one you buy. sometimes ceramics are fired with tiny bits of hard debris poking out on accident, especially if the product is mass-produced

Those are very cute but like others have said bettas are insanely brave and silly 🤪 they will try to squeeze through just about anything I can’t tell you how many times mine have gotten stuck between plants and driftwood that was to close to the glass and I had to move it back so they could get out so now I always say if your finger can’t fit through then they will get stuck because there going to try and push through but the one without any windows is totally fine or you could super glue gel some plants in the tiny window openings so they won’t even try to get through or glue a bunch of moss over it but I would definitely soak it first with treated water to make sure it doesn’t fall apart and or the paint come off

I don’t know what candle holders are glazed with, considering that they have to endure heat they might be safe but i personally would prefer items labeled for aquarium use.

If they were labeled food safe at least i would maybe consider trying, but it would not be worth it for me to find out if they hold up long-term use under water.
