First fish of the year.

First fish (2 photos) was a little small but had been fishing around with other baits (spinner and a trick worm) for about half an hour. Threw on a new jerkbait (bought son and I both one) and with the first cast caught the first little bass. Was super grateful to have caught anything and decided to cast a few more times. 1, 2, fish on.

Second bass was considerably larger. Didn't weigh either as it wasn't really worth it but i can certainly say the second was 1.5 easy. Kentucky this time of year just grateful to catch anything where I live.
