I was originally going to to go with a 150 gallon, but apparently my buddy bought this 110 high a year ago then never used it. and for $350 for the whole setup, couldn't pass it up. I was originally going to stock Jack Dempsey but I wonder if there's a better match that would actually enjoy the height.

  1. Discus! Altum Angelfish, or any Angelfish really. Pearl Gourami… honestly there are not that many freshwater fish that need deep tanks.

Congrats! I’d buy that at that price too, and I have no place to put it. IMHO the main advantages of extra height on the 110 are aquascaping options and ease of viewing from standing height, not really the stocking options. I think JDs would look great in here.

That’s a get price but deep tanks are a pain to clean. I hope you have long arms. Other than that I’d stock it with Angels or Discus.

Either an angelfish tank, or keep the fill line around 50 and do a paludarium with a plant d landmass with treefrogs

  5. I put a coupld smaller bichirs in mine. ones that wont get like multiple feet long.
