I've had my boy Pompeii for about 2 weeks now. He's gotten way more vibrant and is very active, but I gotta ask, are thse stress stripes or just the way he's colored? They are not on his other side, just the one in the picture. And if they are stress stripes, what do I do?

According to a quick google search these look more like breeding stripes to me, but I’m no expert. I believe stress stripes go along the fish horizontally, and breeding stripes vertically.
It’s not breeding stripes or stress stripes, it’s just part of his koi pattern! Very pretty boy!
Just wanted to say, I love his name.
