Hello! I am in the process of acclimating Bruce to his new tank. I have had this set up for about a month now. Is there any glaring problems? I do want to add more live plants, but that will be here and there when I can find them. There is a heater, air stone, and a combination of live and silk plants in a 5 g.
He is my office buddy, so will be alone on the weekends, but I did pick up some weekend feeding pucks. I was looking at the automated feeders, but I dont think they would work with this tank (the lid does fit tightly, its just propped open while the cup is in there)

Don’t use the feeding pucks! Bettas don’t recognize them as food and it’ll just cause big ammonia spikes. Going the weekend without food is better than that. Automated feeders can be hit or miss, but I had good luck with them.
