Definitely not! Plakats have short fins and his are pretty long.

nah def not. this one’s fins are long and still growing by the looks of it. plakat fins are half the current size of your betta

Out of curiosity when he was sold to you did he have shorter fins? I’m thinking maybe his fins were damaged to the point where they looked like plakat fins from the amounts of toxic buildup in whatever he was contained in
