Finally got a chance to take the Butterstick out so I hit up a stocked pond with a friend. Definitely a learning curve for casting since my only rod before this one was a 9FT 6WT but it was awesome. The textured line shoots like a charm and the bend of the rod is addictive. Bonus points for me since we used flies I tied myself 😎
