First time fish owner! Ive had her for a few days now and her tank is fully cycled. I just got some plants from her original tank at the aquarium shop she was in to help with bacteria growth.

Im currently waiting for her Betta bed and an additional mangrove piece to add an underground cove for depth and possible amino shrimps (Im mentally prepared if she eats them).

Its a 7.5 gallon tank and shes temporarily set up on my sink counter while I finish her table in the living room. Also, ive been thinking of putting a scrap of filter sponge in the pipe where the waterfowl comes out into the tank. I feel likes its too strong even in the lowest setting since ive seen her be blown away, although she knows how to swim above and below it 🤔

I'll take any suggestions to make her comfortable and happy!
Thank you!

She’s gorgeous!!! Your tank looks amazing! It looks pretty dark though, if you don’t have an overhead light I would def recommend. If you already have one, then I think it’s looking great.
And for the filter, I’ve seen people place a holder with rocks right below it, making it look like a waterfall.

    Good luck!!!
