Timer betta owner- I believe I all the necessities I’ve been testing my water once a week (5 gal tank) & it’s surprisingly good on all fronts but question is —-does my Lucky guy🍀 look happy? He’s a half moon male. I got him a few months ago on a whim he was at a feed store all alone in a tiny, dirty cup. I’d like recommendations on making sure he’s happy and entertained 🧡

    hi!

mystery snails should not be in 5g, with a betta maybe 15-20G at least. you NEED a liquid test kit, but seeing that your pH and kH are so low, snails are a no-go. your weekly water changes should be done with water conditioner on your drinking water, since fish have problems with stuff that are fine with humans (there can also be leeching and stuff, so you need a water conditioner such as prime asap).
