I’m not sure how much pattern really matters. I fish rainbow trout patterns in ponds that the fish don’t even know what a rainbow trout is. It’ll catch fish. I’d especially use this post spawn if you see a ball of fry. Burn it through the ball and mama will come after it.

Don’t think the pattern matters too much on a flee shad. I use mine to cover water fast and I assume it’s almost 100% pure reaction bite.

Yes. Smallmouth will love it. I’m state adjacent to you. You might get Brown trout on it.
