Sooo, this is my first tank(12g). I did do a lot of research but there is so much information out there it is kind of overwhelming. Anyway this is my tank. Cycled it for 5 weeks before adding fish (did a lot of reading on the nitrogen cycled thingy) added 6 White cloud minnows and later 4 endlers. Everyone seems to be doing fine for a while now. But I'm very scared to show you guys. Please let me know what I did wrong and need to do beter but also don't hate me, I am trying to learn. Also can I add some shrimp?

I don’t know all the scientific stuff behind fish tanks, but aesthetically it looks really awesome. I like that it’s got so many plant decorations. It gives the fish lots of places to hide. Again I don’t know all the rules for fish tanks but if I had that setup I wouldn’t hesitate to add a couple tiny shrimp… But that’s just my opinion. I like the setup though, it for sure has a really cool overgrown vibe going. (In a good way)
I’m new to this too and I think it looks great, I’m still learning about the hobby, it’s fascinating and scary all at once!
I wouldn’t be worried about it, it looks really good, I wouldn’t care how it looks as long as the fish have all the things they need like good water quality, caves to hide in and natural setting which you have done so don’t worry
