It wasn’t even sucking water at this point. I walked out after it stopped and came back to this. I guess he wanted to see where his water was going? Silly evil fish 🥰

I’ve had mine do this. I think he’s learned his lesson (he swam in while draining water and immediately swam out lol)

I have an all in one tank that’s got like three chambers where all the filtration is kept. I walked away mid filter rinse to my new plakat in the middle chamber having the time of his life.
He snuck in through the outflow hole that’s usually blocked by the nozzle I had disassembled to rinse. And because he’s a plakat he was able to squeeze in the little gap that leads from one chamber to the next.
These fishies are naughty!

my exact fear because she loves to get RIGHT next to my hand. which is cute and all except i’m usually holding something pointy or sucky lol
