Added red cherry shrimp! He was distracted by the net handle and didn’t see the shrimps going in. When he finally noticed it, he just kinda stared at it until he realized I was recording him (he hates the camera more than anything)

Your betta must be a celebrity because he clearly hates the paparazzi. If you were in the tank you’d get a good strike bite for sure.
😆 My betta will actually pose for the camera.
He also spent most of his first day in the tank literally biting EVERYTHING. Live plants, rocks, sand, snails, floating log, sponge filter, the glass walls none of them were safe from him asserting total dominance.
Their unique personalities from fish to fish is so interesting.
