I am new to trolling. I’m am Loki no for advice on what to line and how to rig my reels.
I live on a sail boat so will just be trolling when underway for place to place. Around 8-12 kts
I have attached a photo of what I currently run but looking to improve.
As I understand it. Best is to have a braided line around 200/300m, then join that to a mono line about 50/100m.
With a quick connect clip at the end.
Then use a short length of wire or mono crimped to the lure and crimped with a loop to clip onto the leader on the reel?
Im not targeting any species in particular. But commonly get tuna wahoo and mahi.
Let me know if that sounds right ? And as always advice and knowledge is welcome.
