Just got this boy from my work I got a fat discount on him I’m wondering if he’s healthy? He’s shows no signs of being unhealthy has a stunning flair too but I know sometimes bettas get sick in the stores so just wanna be sure! And does anyone know what color he is I thought he was a samurai but I never seen a crown tail samurai and he has a little orange

I would definitely test the water from the cup to see if there’s a lot of ammonia in there, I’d also recommend a salt bath just to help him a little if there’s any fin damage
His fins look abit pale, I think once he gets into a healthy, cycled, properly set up tank he should look much better soon!
