Braid got struck under the spool and i think i broke the drag ring when removing the drag knob.

I’m looking at the semantics and can’t tell how the drag ring should lay into the spool properly and I can’t tell if the drag ring is broken.

It’s a daiwa kage lt 2500D-XH and I couldn’t find a tear down video. Also the reel is still under 1 year warranty via daiwa. Do you think I should go that route?
