Gonna be Texas surf fishing at night around 1 am and I have these spoons
The top one is a blue top with silver bottom spoon
But I'm gonna be night surf fishing and was wondering do spoons work at night?what other colors should I get

Those type of spoons aren’t good for night time. Spoons work great during sunny days . At night time you might want to try dark colors and needle plugs, maybe a darter or top water plugs.

Surf in Texas can be rough with the spring winds. I’d recommend a 1-2oz spoon if targeting reds/jacks or Spanish mackerel. Never tried night but typically silver works well. Good luck!

People give a bunch of bullshit advice. Black lure, use oil at night. That’s it.
