Landed this 15 pound channel cat at one of my favorite local parks. Second one I’ve caught out of there at 15 pounds. I’ve landed at least 10 over 10 pounds in the last year or so from there. Caught on cut shad side that’s been in my freezer for over a year. Santee Cooper rigged with a 6” rattle spook 3oz bank sinker and 7/0 octopus circle hook. Rod is an orange Hellcat medium action with an Abu Garcia 6500 catfish special reel and 60lb braid with 28” 60 pound mono leader.
