(Recap; free from petsmart, labled as "adopt(swim issues)", picked him up along with a mustard cause i wanted to give him a nice home.)
I kept him in his cup for a day to keep a close watch on him. Very energetic fish but I never catch it on camera. He swims alright but when he stops he tilts to his sides. Should I fast him for a few days? Seems like he could be constipated. (I didnt notice any waste when I did a water change)
He looks a little bloated but definitely not pineconing.

I sewed Java moss into my Neptunes. He uses it a lot.
Your tank isnât fully cycled and there is no surface agitation
Swim issues would be swim bladder or related issues. If he swims to the bottom and then floats to the top (or buoyancy issues over all) then treat for swim bladder
Does your heater hit 80? I bought the same one from petsmart but it never reaches 80 so I switched to another heater that actually hits 80 and my betta started to swim fine (also got a sick looking betta from petsmart).
