i'm staring at the trolling motor page on the litime site and i'm lost. they’ve got like three different 100ah options the standard brick, a ""group 24"" size, and then this tiny ""mini"" version.
i'm trying to kit out my 12ft jon boat (running a 55lb thrust minn kota) and i'm stuck on whether the form factor actually matters for a trolling motor. the mini looks sick because i could probably tuck it under the rear seat and reclaim some deck space for my tackle box, but i'm worried if it's too light? man, when the lake gets choppy and i'm bouncing over wakes, i'm a bit paranoid that the smaller casing on those mini units might not handle the vibration as well as the beefier standard ones. also, that group 24 size is tempting because it would actually fit my existing plastic battery tray perfectly without me having to drill new holes. but then i'm wondering if i'm just being lazy and should just go for the most compact one possible.
for those of you running these on small boats or kayaks does the physical shape change how you balance the boat? also, do the handles on the smaller units actually hold up when you're hauling them from the truck to the dock, or do they feel like they’re gonna snap? idk if i’m overthinking the ""vibration resistance"" thing or if it’s a real factor for lfp on the water.

They should all work equally. Half of the larger size ones are mostly empty. It can be easier if you have a boat made for a specific size. Or on a boat the smaller size might not be worth more money. On a small boat the smaller one with Bluetooth is ideal.
