When I noticed his funs looking injured, I added capatta leaves (about a week ago) and took out the plastic plants. His water has been perfect since then. pH 7.4 (doesn't really change), ammonia .25, nitrite 0 and nitrate 10-20, this is using the API water test kit, it has never been in a dangerous range since he was put in the tank. . He has been in this 5 gallon take for 3 months. It was cycled prior to using it. He has a heater. 1-2 gal water changes 1-2 time per week. On the 3-4 days per week I feed him he gets 3-5 pellets. His behavior has not changed. He naps in his usual spots, and gets his afternoon exercise. The 1st pic is today, the 2nd is when I first noticed changes about a week ago.
