This guy is the bane of my existence. Found out after buying him that they don’t always eat algae wafers and so he’s been living on the biofilm in the tank as well as a weekly blanched cucumber or zucchini slice. It’s a well established, probably coming up to 7-8 months old. I worry he may not be eating enough
He is on his own in a tank with 4 female guppies. My LFS did not inform me that Otos were social fish and needed friends to feel comfortable but I intend on getting him and the guppies a bigger tank to house more Otos comfortably

Looks normal to me. Belly is not sunken so he does not look starved. In an established tank you would be surprised how much biofilm they graze on.
