Betta Fish: After so much work, my betta’s community tank is finally complete!

When I rescued my dear Lebettabron (not my first choice, but his name is just so stupid that I had to keep it), I never thought I would want to get much more than his little five gallon cube. However, I realized that this little fish had survived a heater-less bowl with only a tiny barrel cave and some gravel. While his little cube has leagues better, he still deserved more.

So here he is, in a 20 long with some panda corydoras, harlequin rasboras, and more than enough plants.

This tank has honestly taught me so much about patience in a time of my life where it was so turbulent in my social life and work. But coming back to my betta and this tank has reminded me that a routine and taking time to not rush things is the way to go.

Sorry for the long post, but honestly, this little fish has made my life so much better. I love my stupid little guy in and I finally have made him a home that I’m proud of.
