I read through the wiki but cant associate anything mentioned in it with the flaky dried skin looking condition near the gill and the egg spot.

I can’t really see her gill very well because the video appears a bit grainy, but that could just be my old ass phone. I can, however, tell that she is STRUGGLING against the current in that tank. Please turn down the flow of your filter🥲 bettas can’t handle that.

Asides from the ocean stream current you have, that I see someone has already mentioned, one other issue in your tank my friend. Beta’s do not get along with other fish, they will stress her out, separate them.
