I’m trying to track down a largemouth bass with unusual coloration — white, albino, leucistic, golden, or anything that looks really different from the normal green pattern.
If anyone here has ever caught one, seen one in a private pond, or knows someone who has one, I’d love to hear about it. Even photos or stories would help.
If something legitimate turns up I’d definitely be interested in buying the fish or working something out.

That golden LMB is insane
The first 2 are incredibly rare, fish of a lifetime type catches and the reason I keep a tape on me, I’d be taking measurements and pics to get one made before releasing. The 4th is very common, it’s melanosis or “blotchy bass syndrome” and I catch a lot of them in the southeast.
I caught a 4 lb one with black spots all over it. Crazy cool. If you go on my profile you’ll see a post I made about it. I’d post a pic on this comment but I can’t
