Simple but effective method to secure your drop shot weight. Just a small loop of shock cord around the butt of the rod to slip the weight under for storage or transport. Cuts way down on tangles.

I like it, I’ve been using a snap to hook the weight on so that I can attach the snap to an eyelet when not in use

I tried the drop shot for the first time last week & got so frustrated because the weight tangled around one of my other lines & I had to cut both
