I was in Colorado earlier this week touring CU Boulder and fishing, but I didn’t think that I would catch more fish in 3 hours in Virginia than I would the entire trip in Colorado. Also I was using a dry dropper rig and the hook on two of my drys completely snapped off on some fish. Is this just crappy hooks or what?

sometimes flies get a bit of rust at the bend and it makes them prone to snap. Check. your flies, especially the ones that get lots of use
