Aquariums: Friendly Reminder to Clean Out Your Sump
PSA. Its a good idea to break down your Sump yearly and fish out all the stuff that got past your filter. This is 1 year of snail shells.

life was hectic and i hadn’t been able to clean out of my filters for 6 months in my 180g with 60 african cichlids. When i say it was disturbing the amount of snails, gunk and poop that were in both filters… my god. somehow the FX6 and Marineland360 kept on churning and had all normal readings and crystal clear water the entire time. Hope to be able to do a sump at somepoint.

Well I don’t like that at all. It looks like some kind of ungodly bug infestation.
