Shrimp didn't work well before, and I found earthworms too disgusting. What is this gummy-like material? It feels super easy to use and clean!

Maybe some type of power bait or fake salmon eggs. I’ve found sweet corn to be the best bait for trout.

Probably powerbait. I prefer power eggs, on a Carolina rig.

Looks like an egg sack with natural (possibly treated) trout/salmon eggs. 18-24” 6lb to 8lb fluorocarbon leader with small splitshot just above leader knot drift along the bottom
