That’s not where the swivel goes. You tie your line at the bend in the wire between the spinner blade and hook. After that it’s easy. Fish around weeds and weed edges. Pike love spinner baits

Without a leader, more like the pickerel will be catching your bait.

#2 – trailer upside down
#3 – interesting, will probably work for bass

Nothing wrong with using a snap swivel but it goes by the end of your pinky finger. If you have any kids with orthodontic work being done, those tiny little rubber bands they may have can make it more secure so the swivel doesn’t slide towards the flasher. I prefer spinnerbaits that bend the metal wire into a loop specifically so that doesn’t happen.
All of these setups will catch fish. When I’ve caught the most chain pickerel, I use a spinnerbait – just throw it as far as you can – and do a fast retrieve with the tip of your rod close to the water. Pickerels look up and they’ll kill it.
