I have been keeping fish for 3 years and have done it as cheep as physically possible buying second hand tanks and cleaning them up and buying broken filters and fishing them as I was poor teenager when I started. All the hardscape was collected from the woods. I want to restart the 110 and 30l when I have the time and money.so my tanks are:110L with a cheep and cheerful light and heater with a cheap Amazon internal filter with mechanical filtration and filter floss and I have a ehiem pro 3 with some sponges but mostly biological filtration .fluval stratum substrate.
Plants- I belive lymnoohilia (allow me I’m dyslexic), rotala red ,red tiger lotus, a Amazon sword, dawlf Sadge which has taken over and pearl weed which I don’t even plant and Monte Carlo.
Stock:
-some guppy’s which are hybrids and culls from a pervious breeding project I abandoned
-about 20 neon tetras, diamond tetras and cardinals
-15 silver tips mostly female 🙁
-1 neon blue goby -bought years ago when I started he is only one left
-Siamese algea eater
-lots of sterbai tetras which I have bread with some success and a julli
-3 bristle noses
-cull shrimp and amanos
That’s about it I want a feature fish but have got sick of dwalf chiclid like apistos only lasting a few months- tried having gouramis but can’t find good genetics locally
Please recommend some feature fish I was thinking of putting my nanochromis transvestite chiclids in their as is bigger but the can’t drop the ph that much withought killing of half the fish in their
Tank 2 30l has similar cheep light and filter and heater ph is 4.5-5
Stock is:
Probably about 50 at this point of transvetite chiclids can’t seem to stop them breeding – I bought 1 pair -am trying to sell them on if anyone is interested in the uk as they are quite rare.lots of people struggle to bread them.
2 young bristle noses: 1 Snow White and a L183 starlight bristle nose -trying to grow them to put in bigger tanks after selling bristle nose
Some shrimp and a lone cpd
I’m going to get some Pygmy corys for this once I’ve moved some of the chiclid fry
Shrimp tank – 25L
Probably 100 shrimp
The box -15L
Plan on putting some of my nanochromis transvestitus chiclids in here when I tear down the tank
I know all my tanks are overstocked but that’s how I like it and I do weekly water changes.dont realy know what to do with my chiclids any advice and please rate it

Also is this too much weight on the rack I made it from a shoe rack and added the cabinet doors
Love the mix of cardinals and neons, the cardinals look really noice. Green neon tetras next 🙂 Dwarf “cichlid” recommendation Dario Dario, I’m in the same spot, I wanted a centrepiece fish and got a German Blue Ram but it ate up a few of my 1 month old Guppy fry, the gf says it’s out, new tank time hahaha.
