I fly fish 80% of the time but recently picked these up for catching stocker trout they put in near my new place. Stockers are fairly easy on fly rod but for days I really just want to catch dinner it’s hard to beat UL spinning rod. Have only fished these for cumulative ~3hrs so far but seem like very nice rods for the $. Curious if others agree.

I thought Light and Ultralight referred to power not action
Haven’t tried the lights. I love my MH evo, though. The fact that i got it last winter at Walmart on sale for $13.50 makes it even sweeter.
The light is extra wimpy, I’d love to try the UL. It’s not my favorite rod but it is really good.
