This is my betta, Pimp. He’s in a planted 3 gal planted tank (I have two filters set up, going to get a 10gal tall and use the second filter to “quick start” the new tank. This one will turn into a shrimp tank. The 3gal is a temporary!). Water parameters are good, plants are healthy. When I first bought him he was really lethargic, pretty skinny and his fins were a LOT shorter than they are now. Now he’s always jumping around the tank, making a massive bubble nest, his fins have gotten about 1/3 longer, and whenever i walk by the tank he tries to gaslight me into feeding him.

He kinda looks over weight to me… how much are you feeding him? I’m no expert tho
He’s pretty big but one of my males is as well and I don’t over feed so it could be genetics but what’s going on with his bottom fins I took a pic

Almost looks like the beginning of fin rot so u might want to boil almond leaf for 5/6 mins in about 3-4 cups of water and then add 0.5 teaspoons of aquarium salt let it fully dissolve then add some api stress coat plus or stress guard up to u I like stress coat and let pot cool to room temperature bump heat up on tank to 80 degrees Fahrenheit and pour entire pot into tank let it sit for 7-10 days and then perform small water changes daily to weed out salt
