I got an Okuma Celilo from Amazon but I think the tip guide is on the wrong side. Never been fishing, so I'm genuinely not sure. Do I need to return and order another?
That’s a nice rod to start out with, it’s not only facing the wrong way, from the picture it looks like the tip might be broken off. Measure the rod and see if it matches up to the length printed on the blank above the top part of the handle.

Tip is on the wrong side for sure. It also appears to be missing the support braces for that last eye…I’d be returning that.

It should be on the same side as the other guides, in line with them.
I’ve seen this happen when it’s hot out and the rod is left out in the sun or car softening the glue.
You could heat the tip up and adjusting it, but I’d likely return it if it were me. If it came like that, I would be worried of imperfections I couldn’t see and the rod snapping while I’m fishing. I vote return it or exchange it.

I recently bought an okuma solaris off amazon from a non-amazon seller and it took two returns to get a rod that didnt have the tip cracked off.
