I was trying to see what was causing the drag to not work on this reel (basically no drag but when it’s fully on it’s difficult to reel in). I opened up this plastic gear and the tiny spring popped out. Any advice on finding a replacement? I know it’s not the most expensive reel, but has some sentimental value and I’d like to get it back up and running.

buy a new reel
I had this happen with a Ross Colorado. Sent them an email and they sent me a replacement.
There might be an ultra slim chance someone has one of these reels and has 3D printing equipment.
Unfortunately, I think your best bet would be to cannibalize an identical reel if you want this specific reel to live on.
