We've had him for about 2 months now. I figured his colors would've brightened up a bit. His tank parameters have been normal. Maybe he's just naturally darker? First pic when we got him and second/third pic today. Also, I have no idea what he was doing with that pirate ship he just wanted to chill I guess 🤣

It’s all a game of roulette, I’m kinda scared my betta will change colors.
Just a side note, I think you should fully submerge the heater into the water, i heard there’s a small chance of it exploding, since it’s glass and all.
He’s beautiful and I love his color. There’s a very good chance that you bought a healthy betta to begin with and he is already his natural color. As he ages he may change a little but that beautiful diluted blue is gorgeous.
