2 years to be exact. I had moved 5 Loaches into a natural planted tank a few years back. There were a few in the big tank we couldn’t catch so we let them go and hoped for the best. Well….. the best happened! We have this huge piece of quartz in the big tank. 10/15 pound. Beautiful stone but yeah, it doesn’t get moved much. He took it completely out and out popped Kuhli loaches! I’ve been feeding these fish multiple times a day for 6 months personally, and have not seen a loach! lol. Even lights off no loaches. Yay! I love Kuhli loach s and now I have 3 of the 4 common types again! Woohoo! Such cute faces!

Hey fish distribution system more finikey than cats lol
happened to me… they were in a piece of decorative wood. I knew I had one, but originally had three–didn’t see the other two for a year. All of them came out of the wood.
Easy, don’t clean the tank. s/
