My little guy has gained a little weight the last month from me feeding him a bit extra. But when I look at the photo it does look like the scales are slightly slighty raised. is that normal or is it a early sign of droopy 🙁

It’s definitely raised and is a sign of dropsy. You should put him in a hospital tank and treat with epsom salt and kanaplex. I’ve lost a few to dropsy. It’s brutal. You may have to consider euthanasia as well if he doesn’t improve. Wishing you both the best!!
